Indigo dyeing starter kit

A new kit in the Hope jacare range is a simple indigo dye kit. Indigo dye will dye wool, cotton, viscose, silk , nylon and hemp.

Indigo is a natural dye and works in a magical way to produce the wonderful indigo blue colour.

This is a small kit but it will allow you to dye upto 1kg fabric, yarn or fibres dependant on depth of colour required. The kit contains full instructions, indigo powder, soda ash, thiox, gloves and a stirer. Also some small fabric and thread pieces to explore the process along with a Hank of beautiful 2ply Leicester longwool British yarn(I stitch with this doubled) tussah silk, silk Lapp, silk cocoons, silk rods and a few layers of silk hankies. Lots to play with.
